Another Honor For JMU’s Watford

HARRISONBURG — The postseason honors keep piling up for James Madison football player Earl Watford.
The senior offensive guard was named a first-team Associated Press Division I-AA All-American on Wednesday.
He was accorded the same honor Monday by The Sports Network.
Teammate Stephon Robertson, a middle linebacker and the CAA Defensive Player of the Year, was named to the AP second team. He also was a second-team pick by TSN.
Watford allowed just one sack while starting in all 11 games, and led the Dukes’ fourth-ranked rushing attack in the CAA (209 ypg).
