Another ‘W’ For Knights
BRIDGEWATER — Senior guard Kaitlin Keeley scored 11 points to lift Turner Ashby High School to a 46-43 win over Rockbridge County in a non-district girls’ basketball game Monday.
The Knights improved to 2-13; the Wildcats dropped to 2-12.
Junior guard Miranda Dean and junior forward Bre Bosley added eight points each for TA. Guard Keely Fresh scored 23 points for Rockbridge.

Eagles Beat Frostburg State
BRIDGEWATER – Senior guard Jessica Morgan scored 24 points to lift Bridgewater College to a 70-59 victory over Frostburg State in a non-conference women’s basketball game Monday at Nininger Hall.
The Eagles improved to 8-7; the Bobcats dropped to 5-12.
Freshman guard Cassidy Burkholder added 16 points and four assists for BC, which plays next at Eastern Mennonite University on Thursday.
Yoders Gets ODAC Honor
HARRISONBURG – Junior forward Kala Yoders was named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Player of the Week on Monday after averaging nearly a double-double in a pair of wins.
Yoders had 18 points and 11 rebounds in a 93-68 win at Randolph-Macon last Tuesday, then had 11 points, six rebounds, three steals and three blocked shots in a 70-54 victory over Virginia Wesleyan. Yoders entered the week averaging 6.9 points and 5.9 rebounds.
The Royals (11-5 overall, 7-1 in the ODAC), who are on a four-game winning streak and tied for first in the league standings with Guilford, host Bridgewater College on Thursday.
