Mary Washington Women 56, Bridgewater 41: Center Carol Dye had 18 points and 11 rebounds to lead Mary Washington to a 56-41 victory over Bridgewater College in a non-conference women’s basketball game Monday in Fredericksburg.
UMW improved to 15-6; BC dropped to 11-8.
Senior guard Jessica Mullen was the only double-digit scorer for BC with 12 points.
Page County Boys 66, Luray 53: Senior forward Tanner Dofflemyer scored 18 points to lead Page County High School to a 66-53 win over Luray in a Shenandoah District boys’ basketball game Monday in Luray.
The Panthers improved to 18-4 overall, 13-1 in the Shenandoah; the Bulldogs dropped to 9-13, 6-8.
Junior shooting guard Tim Brown had 17 points for Page.
Sophomore guard Robert Van Wyck had 14 points for Luray.
