UPDATE: Blizzard Warning Issued For Higher Elevations
Central Valley Above 2,000 Feet Added To Alert

The National Weather Service issued a blizzard warning Monday afternoon for areas in the Shenandoah Valley above 2,000 feet in elevation.
The alert is in addition to the blizzard warning issued Sunday night for higher elevations in Pendleton and Grant counties in West Virginia.
Harrisonburg’s elevation is 1,325 feet and most of the other lower lying areas of the Valley will likely escape any major snowfall.
In the higher elevations, residents could see 6 to 12 inches of snow. The blizzard warning is in effect until 2 p.m. Tuesday.
