EMU Wins 16-2 In Baseball

HARRISONBURG — Junior second baseman Ryan McAlister went 3-for-4 with three RBIs and three runs scored to lead Eastern Mennonite University to a 16-2 win over New Jersey City in a non-conference baseball game Sunday.

The Royals improved to 3-4; the Gothic Knights fell to 1-3.

McAlister is a Turner Ashby High School graduate.

EMU starting pitcher Adam Posey allowed two runs on six hits with nine strikeouts through seven innings. Posey also went 3-for-3 in the leadoff spot with an RBI and three runs scored.
