Congratulations For President Obama

Sifting through the spate of congratulatory notes to President Obama, these caught my eye.
One from Hamas, which says, “Congratulations on your win! Be sure to catch our 2,000-rocket salute in your honor. Aimed at Israel.”
Here’s one from Vladimir Putin. “Congratulations, Comrade Obama. I am anxious to see what you can do in your new term, as per our earlier conversation.”
From the drug cartels in Mexico, “Felicidades, President Obama! Keep us in mind for future gun sales, por favor.”
Another from the president of Greece, stating simply, “Welcome to the club!”
Al-Qaeda, albeit on the run, took time to dash this off: “Congratulations on 2012! Can’t wait for 2014!”
Postmarked Beijing, from the Chinese Banking Authority. “Best Wishes, Mr. President, Anticipating another trillion in U.S. debt, we respectfully remain open for business!”
