Congress Must Stop Ethanol Mandate

Urge your congressmen to force the Environmental Protection Agency to end the requirement to produce ethanol. Forty percent of corn produced is used for ethanol production. That’s 40 percent!
Do you realize how many cows, hogs, chickens, goats, sheep (have I missed any?) can be fed with this 40 percent of corn?
This 40 percent also increases the cost of feed for the above with these added costs passed on to you and me.
Don’t believe food costs are increasing? Check the prices next time you shop at the grocery store. Oh, by the way, fruits and vegetables also are increasing in price.
Please contact your congressman to vote against ethanol production.
