Curb Free Speech But Not Guns?
Posted: March 6, 2013
I find it peculiar that many of those voices so quick to blame the movie industry for our violent society, which I agree with in part, would support restrictions on what Hollywood produces and thus restrictions on one’s constitutional right to freedom of speech, but are outraged at the idea of restrictions on gun ownership?
And I would bet that the voices who so loudly proclaim that gun violence is a mental health issue, which I again agree with in part, are also most likely the voices who demand cuts from government services, meaning mental health services.
You can’t have it both ways.
