Why all these fires, floods and tornadoes? Because of man’s wickedness and persistent and willing violation of God’s moral law: the Ten Commandments.
God is slowly but surely withdrawing his spirit — his protecting power — from the Earth. He disciplines us to wake us up to our spiritual condition. The solution? “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14).
