Dukes Get Sweep In Myrtle Beach

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Sophomore right-hander Sarah Mooney hit three home runs and pitched four innings to lead James Madison to two wins, 8-2 over Georgetown and 13-0 over Middle Tennessee State, in a Chanticleer Classic softball doubleheader Friday.

 

The Dukes improved to 11-6; Middle Tennessee dropped to 1-15; Georgetown dropped to 4-15.

 

Mooney hit two home runs and started on the mound against Georgetown, and hit one homer against MTSU. Sophomore left fielder Morgan Heath went deep twice against Middle Tennessee.
