WINCHESTER — Junior forward Brenna Cook scored 22 points as Millbrook High School defeated Turner Ashby 54-28 in a non-district girls’ basketball game Wednesday.

Freshman forward Sarah Wood paced the Knights (2-19) with eight points.

Pendleton County 45, East Hardy 38: Junior center Hillary Ord had 15 points, 11 rebounds and three steals to lead Pendleton County past East Hardy High School 45-38 in a Potomac Valley Conference girls’ basketball game Wednesday in Franklin, W.Va.

The Wildcats improved to 9-5 overall, 6-2 in the PVC.
