HARTS There During Time Of Need
Posted: February 22, 2013
Thank God for organizations like HARTS, Mercy House and the Salvation Army.
Finding myself homeless due to nobody’s fault but myself, the HARTS shelter welcomed me in like a long lost brother. During my brief stay, I met a lot of good-hearted people, many of whom were veterans.
Everyone in this great country deserves a safe place to sleep, a warm meal and medical care.
The next time you pass by a homeless person, take a good look at them. He or she might be someone you really liked and respected at one time.
Remember, you never know when it might be your turn to need a helping hand. Support these groups; they really can make a difference.
A big shout out to all who helped get me back on track.
