Wasn’t it swell to again hear the hypnotic tones of the late Paul Harvey?
Frankly, when we heard his voice late in the Super Bowl telecast, we weren’t sure what to think. Or perhaps we were still all atingle after the typically stellar Anheuser-Busch ad featuring the young Clydesdale. In any event, the more Mr. Harvey rhapsodized about farmers, we figured it was an ad — but for what? We should have guessed “trucks.”
It was a treat to hear a radio legend give us the rest of the story about a group of Americans we take all too much for granted.
