EMU Advances With 68-58 Win
SALEM — Keyla Baltimore scored 16 points, and Raiven Patterson added 11 to lead top-seeded Eastern Mennonite University to a 68-58 win over No. 8 Washington & Lee in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference women’s basketball quarterfinals Thursday.
The Royals improved to 19-5; the Generals fell to 9-15.
EMU will face No. 5 Lynchburg in the semifinals Saturday at 1 p.m.
The Royals have now won a program-record 13 games in a row.
Katy Wilson led W&L with 22 points and 12 rebounds.

Lynchburg 51, BC 47: Shannon Allan had 15 points and 12 rebounds and hit two game-clinching free throws with three seconds left to lead fifth-seeded Lynchburg College to a 51-47 win over No. 4 Bridgewater in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference women’s basketball quarterfinals Thursday in Salem.
The Hornets improved to 18-9; the Eagles fell to 14-11.
Lynchburg will play top-seeded Eastern Mennonite on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the semifinals. The Hornets haven’t made the semifinals since the 1989-90 season.
Holly Morgan led BC with 15 points, and ODAC Player of the Year Jessica Mullen finished with eight as the Eagles shot only 27.9 percent from the floor.
