BC, EMU Lose

 

BRIDGEWATER – Tatum McKee scored 17 points as Roanoke beat Bridgewater College 69-64 in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference women’s basketball game Saturday at Nininger Hall.

 

The Maroons improved to 2-4 overall, 1-1 in the ODAC; the Eagles fell to 1-4, 1-1.

 

Senior guard Jessica Mullen led Bridgewater with 18 points.

 

BC’s Shannon Thorne, Katelynn Hottinger and Cassidy Burkholder each added 10.
 

 

Virginia Wesleyan 66, EMU 58: Sarah Seipp had a game-high 21 points and Rachael Miller scored the team’s first 11 points as Virginia Wesleyan College defeated Eastern Mennonite 66-58 in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference women’s basketball game Saturday in Virginia Beach.

 

The Marlins improved to 4-3 overall, 2-0 in the ODAC; the Royals fell to 2-3, 1-1.

 

Junior forward Bianca Ygarza led EMU with 14 points.
