Virginians head to the polls today to pick a new governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general, and here locally, to choose members of the state House of Delegates, county boards and other county, city and town officials.

Sen. Mark Obenshain, R-Harrisonburg, candidate for attorney general, cast his ballot at Thomas Harrison Middle School in the city's West Central Precinct, at about 8:30 a.m..
