Reedy-Showalter Engagement

Amy Reedy & Scott Showalter

David and Brenda Reedy of Linville are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Marie Reedy, to Mr. Kenneth Scott Showalter, son of Kenny and Sue Showalter of Harrisonburg.

Miss Reedy is a 2003 graduate of Broadway High School. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in health and human performance from Roanoke College in 2007.

She continued her education at James Madison University, where she received a Masters in Education degree with a reading specialist endorsement in 2012.

She is currently a second grade teacher at Linville-Edom Elementary School in Linville.

Mr. Showalter is a 2001 graduate of Turner Ashby High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in liberal arts from Bridgewater College in 2005.

He also received a Masters in Education degree with a reading specialist endorsement from James Madison University in 2012.

He is a fourth grade teacher at John C. Myers Elementary School in Broadway.

An August 2013 wedding is planned.
