Shank-King Engagement

Katelyn Shank & Joel King

Donald and Brenda Shank of Harrisonburg have announced the engagement of their daughter, Katelyn Beth Shank, to Joel Bertsche King of Goshen, Ind.

King is the son of Rodney and Sandra King of Goshen.

Shank is a graduate of Eastern Mennonite High School and the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, where she received a bachelor of science degree in biology. She is an associate engineer at Merck and Company in Elkton.

King is a graduate of Bethany Christian High School (Goshen) and Goshen College, where he earned a degree in environmental science. He is a physical plant supervisor at Common Good Marketplace in Harrisonburg.

A May wedding is planned.
