Two Men Nabbed In Break-Ins
Deputies Say Defendants Hit Eight Homes In County

HARRISONBURG — Rockingham County sheriff’s deputies arrested two Augusta County men last week on charges of breaking into several homes.
Rockingham County Sheriff Bryan Hutcheson said deputies responded to eight breaking-and-entering calls from Sept. 28 through Oct. 1 in the Lakewood Estates subdivision.
Both men were arrested Thursday and taken to Rockingham County Jail.
Brad Alan Hershey, 33, of Stuarts Draft, is charged with 11 felonies, including four counts of grand larceny. He also faces two misdemeanor counts of petty larceny.
Gage Matthew Snider, 21, of Verona, is charged with eight felonies, including five counts of grand larceny. He also faces two misdemeanor counts of petty larceny.
Hutcheson said the case remains under investigation and deputies plan to file additional charges against both men.
The men are being held without bond and are scheduled to appear in Rockingham County General District Court on Nov. 20 for a preliminary hearing.
