We Must Take God’s Word Seriously

In my opinion — which, for now, I’m entitled to — the only positive thing about President Obama’s reelection is that he cannot run again for president. I am, however, concerned that, as a nation, we may be going over the brink with him and his leadership.
I am stunned and saddened to learn that more than half of Americans do not take the word of God seriously. Certain policies and practices of this administration and his party are in direct contrast to the teachings of the Bible. Does the reason for the great flood and the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, recorded in Genesis, resonate at all with this country as to what happens when you anger God?
We, as a nation, need to heed 2 Chronicles 7:14. You can believe it or not folks: God’s word said it, it’s true … then and now.
