HARRISONBURG - City representatives will be heading to Davis, Calif., early next year to learn from that community's success in providing bicycle and pedestrian access to its residents.
Harrisonburg City Council has accepted the offer of several advocacy groups, including the Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition, to pay for the trip.
The groups hope to spur the city to continue to make bicycling and walking easier.
