HARRISONBURG - Years ago, Clayton D. Murwin tried unsuccessfully to serve his country.
Seeking to enlist in the U.S. Army, Murwin failed the physical.
"I lost my thyroid gland when I was 25, and they wouldn't take me," he said.
This fall, Murwin hopes to help the U.S. military in another way: specifically, by using comics to uncover the chaotic lives of America's soldiers serving in the Middle East....
