Woman Struck By Car While Walking Dog

HARRISONBURG - A Harrisonburg woman was taken to the University of Virginia Medical Center with life-threatening injuries Saturday night after being struck by a vehicle while walking her dog. Police responded to the intersection of Virginia Avenue and Third Street around 9:15 p.m. to a report that a pedestrian had been hit, according to a statement from the Harrisonburg Police Department.
