Lorna L. Bradway

Lorna Louise Bradway, 68, of McGaheysville, passed away April 28, 2012, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg.

Mrs. Bradway was born April 18, 1944, in Hartford, Conn., and was the daughter of the late Alexander McIntosh and Louise Slesinger Burnham Fraser.

Mrs. Bradway was a farmer and homemaker and moved to the area from Connecticut 34 years ago. She loved all kinds of animals, and as an artist, frequently painted animals and landscapes.

On July 23, 1977, she married Roger Alan Bradway, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Peter Atwood of Gill, Mass.; a brother, Douglas Fraser of Rensselaer, N.Y.; and cousin, Howard Denslow and wife, Ginny, of Brooklyn, Conn.

Fred Smith will conduct a graveside service at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in McGaheysville Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at 2 p.m.
 
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Kyger Funeral Home Chapel in Elkton. The casket will remain closed.
