Bradley S. Nunemaker

Bradley Steven Nunemaker 51, of Harrisonburg, passed away Monday, June 25, 2012, in Harrisonburg, Va.
Born June 27, 1960, in Hanover, Pa., son of the late Earl and Patricia Nunemaker, Brad was lovingly raised by Madge W. Eckenrode and the late Donald F. Eckenrode. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Brian Nunemaker.

Brad graduated from Harrisonburg High School in 1979. He then went on to serve in the U.S. Army from 1983 to 1987. He was employed by Overhead Door as an installer.

He is survived by his mother, Madge W. Eckenrode of Harrisonburg; a daughter, Brittany Starr Nunemaker of New Market, who was the light of his life; Brittany’s mother, Crystale Nunemaker of New Market; three brothers, Daniel Eckenrode, Patrick Eckenrode and wife, Susan, and Michael Eckenrode and wife, Karen; two sisters, Kathlyn Diehl and husband, Ron, and Gail Smith and husband, Randy; a sister-in-law, Mary Nunemaker; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. July 7, 2012, at Dayton American Legion, 3021 John Wayland Highway, Dayton, VA 22821.

Friends may call or come by the family’s home Sunday evening before 8 p.m.
