Paul Edward Pleasants, 91, of Tucson, Ariz., died Wednesday, July 4, 2012. He was born March 2, 1921, in Luray, Va.
A graveside service will be held at Culpeper National Cemetery Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at 11 a.m. with military honors.
He was co-owner of the Trading Post and a veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his daughter, Linda S. (Pleasants) Hensley and son-in-law, Mark Hensley, of Elkton, Va.; grandson, Mark and wife, Joy Carter, of McGaheysville, Va.; great-grandchildren, Mark and Faith Carter of McGaheysville, Va.; and sister-in-law, Bea Pleasants of Luray, Va.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred T. Pleasants; mother, Susie B. (Jones) Pleasants; brothers, Earl Pleasants and Alfred Pleasants; and sister, Frances “Frankie” Underwood.
