Lillie F. Eppard

Lillie Frances Collier Eppard, 92, of Elkton passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at Journey’s Crossing in Elkton.
 
Mrs. Eppard was born Jan. 28, 1920, in the Weaver Hollow area of Page County, and was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Ella Meadows Collier. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Eppard, and a granddaughter, Cheryl Dean.
 
Mrs. Eppard was a member of the Furnace United Methodist Church near Elkton. She was a homemaker who enjoyed family, friends, and gardening.
 
Survivors include a son, Richard Lee Eppard and wife, Ericka, of Elkton; a daughter, Brenda Dean and husband, Wayne, of Elkton; two brothers, John Collier of Stanley and Robert Collier of Shenandoah; two sisters, Susie Wright of Falls Church and Bessie Gordon of Manassas; grandchildren, Jeffrey Dean, Sherrie Lyman, Michael Eppard and Lynn Anderson; and two great-grandchildren.
 
A funeral service will be held at the Kyger Funeral Home Chapel in Elkton 2 p.m., Saturday, July 28, 2012, with Pastor Kevin Poeckert officiating. Burial will follow in the Elk Run Cemetery.
