Jerry P. Glanzer

Jerry Philip Glanzer, 58, of Harrisonburg, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at the Pleasant View Gehman House.

Jerry was born May 14, 1954, in Huron, S.D., and was a son of the late Paul Jacob Glanzer and Lola Derstine Bowers Glanzer, and stepmother, Isabel Gingrich.

He was a resident at the Pleasant View Gehman House and worked at various Pleasant View workshops.

He is survived by brothers, David Glanzer and wife, Tina, James Glanzer and wife, Sherrill, and Dennis Glanzer and wife, Judy; and stepmother, Eva Sonifrank Glanzer.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, at Zion Mennonite Church in Broadway with Pastor Clyde Kratz and Chaplain David Gullman officiating.  Burial will follow at Zion Mennonite Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church from 9:30-10 a.m. prior to the service.
