Clifford B. Mullan

Clifford Blair Mullan, 64, of Shenandoah, passed away Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Mullan was born Oct. 1, 1947, in Barbour County, W.Va., and was a son of the late Blair and Dorothy Anna Belle Boggess Mullan. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Stanley Mullan, and a sister, Donnie Helmick.

Mr. Mullan was a United States Army veteran.  During his service in Vietnam, he received the Purple Heart and Silver Star.  He enjoyed playing his guitar and singing.

Survivors include his children, David Mullan and wife, Candy, of West Virginia, Jeremiah D. Shaffer and wife, Krystal, of Elkton, and Pricilla Annabelle Blair Mullan of Elkton; brothers, Warren Lee, Roy, and Randy Mullan; sisters, Shelia Tennant, Barbara LaMach, Joyce Clark, Jessie Jenkins, Leslie Moats and Monica McNamer; and eight grandchildren.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, at 6 p.m.

Burial will be private.

Arrangements entrusted to the Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton.
