Clyde Thomas Van Huss Jr., 64, of Waynesboro, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
He was born July 21, 1948, in Harrisonburg, a son of the late Clyde Thomas and Thelma Tusing Van Huss.
A proud graduate of the Medical College of Virginia, he was a retired pharmacist. Also, he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his children, Megan and Nick Brauninger of Jacksonville, N.C., Matthew Van Huss of Staunton and Maren Van Huss of Carrboro, N.C.; his sister, Linda Van Huss of Bridgewater; grandson, Kellan Brauninger; and nephew, Chris Way.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at McDow Funeral Home by Fr. Rolo Castillo.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
