Terrie Dean values the art of good conversation. One of her favorite holiday pastimes is gathering around the kitchen table with relatives and simply talking for hours on end.
All I want for Christmas is normal.
Frances Elizabeth Bush, 69, of McGaheysville, passed away Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Bush was born March 14, 1943, in Page County to the late Jack and Helen Comer Pence. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Jack Pence Jr.
Mrs. Bush was a lifetime resident of the area and attended Blue Ride Independent Church, east of Elkton. Before retiring, she worked in Poultry Management. Frances was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and was caring towards many others. She enjoyed playing games on facebook and loved her cats.
On Aug. 24, 1973, she married Wayne Bush, who survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons, Richard Morris of Elkton, Robert Morris of McGaheysville and Joe Bush of Grottoes; daughter, Pam Liptrap of Stuarts Draft; brothers, Roy Pence and Sonny Pence, both of Shenandoah, and Jimmy Pence of Oklahoma; sister, Shirley Shifflett of Shenandoah; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at the Kyger Funeral Home Chapel in Elkton with the Rev. Richard Peters officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in McGaheysville.
The family will receive friends Monday (tonight) from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home in Elkton.
