Lee Ivan Yoder

Lee Ivan Yoder, 86, died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at Kingston at Dupont Nursing Home, Fort Wayne, Ind., from complications due to Alzheimer’s disease. Born July 26, 1926, in Belleville, Pa., he was the son of the late Levi and Lydia (Peachey) Yoder.

On Oct. 22, 1947, he was united in marriage to Ruth Glick, who preceded him in death in 2007. Survivors include a daughter, Judy (Vic) Alger of Broadway, Va.; sons, Jerry (Julie) Yoder of Leo, Ind., and Jess (Helen) Yoder of San Francisco, Calif.; seven grandchildren, Nick (Aaren) and Katrina Alger, Sarah (Brad) Spenn, Erin and William Yoder, Katy and Michael Yoder; siblings, Jess Yoder and Mary Kauffman of Belleville, Pa., Tilli Yoder of Harrisonburg, Va., David Yoder of Ronks, Pa., Carrie Kanagy of Washington Boro, Pa., and Sara Gagnon of Germfask, Mich. He was also preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

The memorial service was at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Leo, Ind., with the burial in Leo Cemetery.
