The Downtown Holiday Tour, featuring Old Town homes, lofts and work spaces in Harrisonburg, will be held from 1-5 p.m. Dec. 15.

William Franklin “Lee” Edwards III, 49, of Elkton, passed away Feb. 2, 2013, at his home.
Lee was born Nov. 11, 1963, in Harrisonburg, and was the son of William Franklin “Bill” Edwards Jr. of Elkton and Linda Nelson of Harrisonburg.
He grew up in Harrisonburg and had also lived in New York and Atlanta. He loved football and baseball and enjoyed attending games, rooting for the Falcons and Braves and JMU. He was employed as an accountant at RR Donnelley and also owned and operated PC Techs, a computer consulting and repair business.
Besides his parents, Lee is survived by his wife, Debbie Dofflemyer Edwards; sons, William F. “Lee” Edwards IV and Christion Tyler Edwards, both of Harrisonburg, and Matthew Lam and wife, Megan, of Elkton; daughter, Rachael Lam of Elkton; sisters, Leslie Edwards of Amherst, Mass., and Wendy Thompson and husband, Bill, of Harrisonburg; grandchildren, Noah Lam and Natalie Conley; nieces, Riley and Kasey Thompson; and in-laws, Nelson and Velma Dofflemyer of Elkton. Lee was preceded in death by his daughter, Kristen Edwards.
Pastor Dan Bassett will conduct the funeral service at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, at Kyger Funeral Home in Harrisonburg. Burial will follow in the Beaver Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Kyger Funeral Home in Harrisonburg. Friends may also call at the Edwards home at any time.
