Michael Wayne Campbell Jr.

Michael Wayne Campbell Jr., 28, of Harrisonburg, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at his home in Harrisonburg.

Mr. Campbell was born Oct. 14, 1984, in Rockingham County. He is survived by his parents, Sharon Sue Stover and stepfather, Skip Stover, and his father, Michael Wayne Campbell Sr.

He attended Harrisonburg High School and worked as a security guard with Wackenhut Security until his health would not allow him to continue.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son, Michael Ryan Campbell and mother, Kimberly Curry; his fiancée, Stephanie Bragg; one brother, Randy Rexrode and wife, Kelli; three sisters, Theresa Campbell and fiancé, Jerry Shifflett, Tina Campbell and fiancé, Joseph Bilyard, and Amanda C. Ratliff; three sisters-in-law, Linah Bilyard, Sarah Bilyard and Amanda Regan; a number of nieces and nephews and loved ones that were like family, Joseph Light and Amber Byrd.

Pastor George Williams will conduct a funeral service at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the McMullen Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends until 6 p.m. following the service.

A graveside service will be held Friday at 11:30 a.m. at Weavers Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to McMullen Funeral Home in Harrisonburg to assist with funeral expenses, 5784 Greenmount Road, Harrisonburg, VA 22802.
