Faye C. Clinedinst

Faye Carolyn Clinedinst, 71, of New Market, passed away Feb. 10, 2013, at her home.

Ms. Clinedinst was born April 30, 1941, and was a daughter of Ruby Christine Donley and the late Burton Douglas “Slim” Osborne.

She attended the New Market Gospel Lighthouse and served in the ministry at Nethers Mill Lighthouse Tabernacle for many years. She was a friend to all that knew her.

Faye is survived by three sons, Steven Clinedinst, Carl Clinedinst and wife, Shelia, and Monte Clinedinst and wife, Melissa; one daughter, Teresa Wilson; one sister, Nancy Frazier and husband, Homer; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and two half sisters, Betty Breeden and Meredith Southerly. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Eugene Rigney.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at the Kyger Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisonburg. The Rev. Howard Miller and associate pastors will officiate. Burial will follow in the Port Republic Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kyger Funeral Home in Harrisonburg to help offset expenses.
