The Downtown Holiday Tour, featuring Old Town homes, lofts and work spaces in Harrisonburg, will be held from 1-5 p.m. Dec. 15.

Liz Bodkin of Bridgewater, Va., passed from this Earth Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013.
She was born May 18, 1932, in Bridgewater, Va., and was the daughter of the late Joseph F. and Helen Homan Wine Sr.
On Dec. 30, 1951, she married Wade B. Bodkin, who survives.
Liz graduated from Bridgewater High School and RMH School of Nursing in 1952.
She worked as a nurse for C.T. Riddel Jr. for many years before becoming a public health nurse for Rockingham-Harrisonburg Health Department, from which she retired.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph F. Wine Jr., and stepmother, Mary W. Wine.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Kay B. Harvey (Niles) of Roanoke; grandson, Bradley N. Harvey (Alicia) of Staunton; granddaughter, Nicole B. Harvey of Roanoke; sisters-in-law, Sara Wine of Harrisonburg and Frances Wine of Staunton; brother-in-law, Hobert Bodkin (Phyllis) of Bridgewater; nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, one great-great-nephew; and special lifelong friend, Kathryn Roche of Bridgewater.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, from 7 to 8 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Service in Bridgewater.
A private graveside ceremony will be Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013. A celebration of her life will be conducted Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral Service. Both services conducted by the Rev. Robbie Miller.
