Bobby Lee Crider

Bobby Lee Crider, 39, of Linville, Va., died Feb. 17, 2013, at his residence.

He was born Sept. 4, 1973, in Harrisonburg, and was a son of the late Covie Hoy “Toby” and Della Virginia Mongold Crider.

He worked for Ivesco and Shenandoah Valley Livestock. He was an avid farmer and hunter and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving are four sisters, Patsy Kirkpatrick and husband, Elbert Jr., of Lacey Spring, Linda Griffith and husband, Paul, of Linville, Shirley Hensley and husband, Chad, of Timberville and Wanda Messick of Verona; nephews, Brandon Kirkpatrick, Dustin Griffith, Matthew Hensley and Kaillum Messick; nieces, Sarah Crider and Brooke Messick; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

Pastor Kevin Gerber will conduct a funeral service 1 p.m. Wednesday at Faith Baptist Church in Broadway. Burial will be at Lindale Mennonite Church Cemetery in Linville.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.
