The Downtown Holiday Tour, featuring Old Town homes, lofts and work spaces in Harrisonburg, will be held from 1-5 p.m. Dec. 15.

Sudie Frances Foltz, 84, of Shenandoah, passed away on Friday, Aug. 30, 2013, in Harrisonburg.
Mrs. Foltz was born on Feb. 23, 1929, in Page County. She was the daughter of the late David E. Henderson and Minnie Marie Andrews Henderson Yeager.
Frances was a lifetime resident of the Shenandoah area and was a member of the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. She was also a member of the VFW Post No. 8613 Auxiliary in Shenandoah. She was employed as an operator with The Alliance Co. in Shenandoah.
On Jan. 25, 1969, Frances married Roy Lee Foltz, who preceded her in death on Feb. 20, 1996. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Hansbrough and husband, James, of Shenandoah; two granddaughters, Crystal Breeden-Burker of Shenandoah and Amanda Gray Haugen of Las Vegas, Nev. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, David Ike Gray, and she was the last remaining sibling of her family.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 2, 2013, at the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Shenandoah. Bob Thomas will conduct the service. Burial will follow at the Rest Haven Cemetery in Shenandoah.
The body will be at the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church for viewing on Sunday after 2 p.m. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday evening at the church. Friends may also call at any time at the home of her daughter, Barbara.
