Brenda J. Norman

Brenda Joyce Norman, 72, of Timberville, Va., died Dec. 20, 2013, at Harrisonburg Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Dec. 18, 1941, in Broadway, and was a daughter of the late James “Sonny” Norman, Jr. and Beatrice O. Norman.
She attended Broadway Baptist Church.
Surviving are one brother, James F. Norman III of Criders; three sisters, Donna Hines of Elkton, Natalie Didawick of Harrisonburg and Valerie Brett of Harrisonburg; nephews, Eric Smith, Anthony Whetzel and James Franklin Norman IV; nieces, Dana Moyer, Stephanie Thompson, Rebecca Vance, Lori Norquest, Ashley Didawick and Caitlin Didawick.
Her sisters, Lana Vance and Karen Whetzel, preceded her in death.
The Rev. David Burrough will conduct a private graveside at Linville Creek Cemetery in Broadway.
