Edward L. Fauls

Edward Leo Fauls, a resident of Penn Laird, Va., passed away Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at U.Va. Medical Center. Edward was born in Pleasant Valley, Va.

 

He attended Pleasant Valley School and went on to serve in the Army. Edward focused his career in construction as a driller and blaster in addition to working as a mechanic on cars, trucks and lawn equipment. He was also an avid volunteer with the McGaheysville Fire Department.

 

Edward is survived by his mother, Ethel Fauls Coffman of Hinton; his beloved wife, Phyllis J. Fauls; sons, Steven L. Fauls of Elkton, Stacy L. Fauls of Penn Laird, Gregory E. Fauls and wife, Margie, of Shenandoah, Richard A. Fauls and wife, Melissa, of Penn Laird, and Jeffory A. Fauls and wife, Amanda, of Timberville; daughter, Rebecca A. Miller and husband, James, of Elkton; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

 

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, at Bear Lithia Baptist Church in Elkton with the Revs. Donald Leatherman and Mark Leatherman officiating. Friends are welcome to call the family at any time.

 

Arrangements are being handled by Kyger Funeral Homes & Crematory in Harrisonburg.
