Jessica Schneider still has the letter she got from her fiancé in 1968 telling her C.S. Lewis was "required reading." It was supposed to be a love letter. "I was looking for an intellectual, a guy with a brain," said Jessica Schneider of Harrisonburg. "Then I came to Lewis through him."
