HARRISONBURG — James Madison sophomore forward Tori Harris will transfer from the program, Dukes coach Sean O’Regan told the Daily News-Record on Friday.

“Tori Harris has decided to pursue other opportunities and I wish her the very best,” O’Regan said via text message.

Harris, a 6-foot forward from Dix Hills, N.Y., played two seasons with the Dukes. As a sophomore she played in 25 games, averaging 2.2 points and 2.3 rebounds per game. She had career highs with 15 points and seven rebounds early in the season against Delaware State, but played less than 10 minutes in eight of JMU’s final 10 games.

Even with Harris’ departure, the Dukes return all but three players from the 2018-19 squad that tied a school record with 29 victories and advanced to the WNIT semifinals.
