Jennifer Jean Langer Breeden, 41, of Penn Laird, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018.

A longtime resident of the Shenandoah Valley, she was born April 26, 1977, to Myron and Jean Langer.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Steven Breeden; a daughter, Mackenzie Noelle Darby; and a brother, Michael Langer.

She graduated from Cornwall Central High School in 1995. She was a member of the Mary Baldwin College class of 1999, achieving a bachelor of arts in theater and music. She later attended Piedmont Virginia Community College and became a registered nurse in 2015.

She enjoyed a talent for flower arrangements, music, theater and sharing her abundant love with her many animal children.

Family and friends will received visitors on Thursday, May 31, at Kyger Funeral Home and Crematoryin Harrisonburg.

A service celebrating her life was held Friday, June 1, at the funeral home. She was interred at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.

Memorial donations may be made to Shenandoah Valley Animal Services, 1001 Mount Torrey Rd., Lyndhurst, VA 22952.
