Erika Harris King and Craig Allan Ganoe, both of Elkton, were married Sept. 19, 2009, by the Rev. Billy D. King in a 4 p.m. outdoor ceremony at a friend’s cabin in Elkton. Dinner and dancing immediately followed the ceremony.The bride is the daughter of Ben and Rhonda King of Elkton.
The groom is the son of David and Peg Ganoe of Stanardsville.
The bride wore a strapless diamond white gown with a modified sweetheart neckline and an asymmetrical shirred bodice. The skirt featured dramatic columns of circular cut ruffled organza, which flowed into a sweep train. The gown was adorned with sequins, pearls and bugle beads.
David Ganoe of Stanardsville was best man.
The bride graduated from Spotswood High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from James Madison University and certification as an esthetician from the Virginia School of Massage in Charlottesville. She is a supervisor at King Construction Inc., and an esthetician at The Spa at Massanutten.
The groom graduated from William Monroe High School in Stanardsville. He is an HVAC Service Technician with Virginia Commercial Systems in Ruckersville.
After a honeymoon cruise to the Western Caribbean, the couple will reside in Elkton.
