INVITATION TO BID ITB No. HRRSA-2020-03 The Harrisonburg-Rockingham Regional Sewer Authority (HRRSA) is soliciting Sealed Bids to construct the Blacks Run Interceptor Division 1B Interceptor Replacement project located in Harrisonburg, VA. The work generally consists of constructing 3,700 linear feet of 48-inch diameter sanitary sewer interceptor. The interceptor is located in commercial and municipal areas adjacent to Blacks Run and Beery Road. The work will include a bored crossing of Stone Spring Road. The work will also include abandoning existing interceptors and re-establishing several sewer service laterals. Sealed Bids will be received by HRRSA until June 23, 2020 at 10:00 A.M., local time, 856 North River Road, Mt. Crawford, VA 22841, and then opened and read aloud as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Bids received after such date and time will be returned unopened. Bids must be submitted in a sealed opaque envelope and clearly marked on the outside with the companys name, current VA Contractors license number and the notation: ITB No. HRRSA-2020-03: Blacks Run Interceptor Division 1B Interceptor Replacement. Bids shall be submitted to HRRSA at 856 North River Road, Mt. Crawford, VA 22841 if hand delivered, or to P. O. Box 8, Mt. Crawford, VA 22841, if mailed. The Bidding Documents are available on HRRSAs website, www.hrrsa.org; and the Virginia e-Procurement System, www.eva.virginia.gov. Copies of the Bidding Documents may also be purchased from HRRSA upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $100.00 for each set. Bids shall be accompanied by a 5% Bid Security as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. Withdrawal of Bids shall be according to 2.2-4330 of the Code of Virginia, as amended. Bidders must be licensed as a Contractor in the Commonwealth of Virginia. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held via video conference on May 28, 2020, at 11:00 AM., local time. The video conference will be held through the WebEx platform. Bidders interested in attending the conference must pre-register prior to 5 pm on May 27, 2020 by contacting Aaron Tice, Project Manager (Wiley|Wilson) at firstname.lastname@example.org or 434-455-3210. Bidders interested in registering should provide their name, email address and company name. At the time of registration, information on access to the conference will be provided. Any changes to the Bidding Documents will be in the form of written addendum, which will be posted on HRRSAs website, the Virginia e-procurement system and furnished to all prospective Bidders who have been issued specifications. HRRSA shall not be held responsible for any oral instructions.
