NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING WEATHERIZATION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM 2021 STATE PLAN Pursuant to Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, Section 440.14(a), the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) will conduct a public hearing for the purpose of receiving comments on the draft Weatherization Assistance Program State Plan for the 2021 Program Year. The public hearing will be held virtually on Monday, April 26, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. via Google Meet. Join using the link meet.google.com/vjt-bviv-ccq or by phone (?US?)?+1 669-999-0968? PIN: 160 738 948#. The Weatherization Assistance Program is funded by the U.S. Department of Energy and is administered in the Commonwealth of Virginia by DHCD. The program s purposes are to increase the energy efficiency of dwellings owned or occupied by low-income persons, reduce total residential energy expenditures, and improve health and safety, especially of persons who are particularly vulnerable, such as the elderly, disabled, and children. Interested parties are invited to provide comment regarding the Weatherization Assistance Program. If you cannot attend the public hearing, you may state your interest or concerns through written testimony mailed to Jennifer Bissett, Weatherization Assistance Program Administrator, DHCD, 600 E. Main Street, Ste. 300, Richmond, VA 23219 or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Copies of the draft 2020 Weatherization Assistance Program State Plan will be available on DHCD's website www.virginia.gov for inspection prior to the meeting.
