Yes, with one small caveat: you take out any religious contributions. Of course that is going to equalize the numbers. Find one that says the opposite and I will cede your point.

I don't know how many more examples you want. By the way, I didn't cherry pick those. They were first responses after a google search. One of them says the number of givers is equal, but conservatives still larger amounts. I've not yet seen anyone say liberals are more generous.
